What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give it, postcode, details of the job and any photos you upload. If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we keep your number and the messages you send. With your consent, our website also collects anonymous information about how it is used, through Google Analytics cookies.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business. We use analytics information to improve the website, only with your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become a job are deleted after 12 months. For customers, we keep records of the work and invoices for 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the website work. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy of it. You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
